Pastor Dianne Dabney was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She has been married to her husband for 45 years and they have two daughters together. Pastor Dabney gave her life to Christ and was filled with The Holy Ghost at the age of 19 years old. Pastor Dianne Dabney has now been serving in ministry for over 37 years and has been active in several rolls. God lead her to establish Life N The Word Church in 2014 where she is the Founder and Pastor.
Pastor Dianne Dabney has several degrees including a Bachelor of Liberal Studies, Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health, Master of Christian Counseling, and a Doctorate of Theology. She is also Board Certified as a National Certified Counselor. This has equipped her with evidence-based, therapeutic counseling tools to further advance her skills as a counselor and better serve her community, clients, and the Body of Christ.
In the professional world Pastor Dianne Dabney is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She spends her time trying to help people live their best life. Her specialties are Pastoral Counseling to the Five-Fold Ministry, Christian Counseling, Marriage, Relationship, and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is also equipped and practices as a Life Coach. She is rated as one of the top therapists in her field and considers it an honor and pleasure to be able to help people to get to a better place in their mind, relationships and oftentimes in their spiritual walk. She believes this is her assignment from God. By applying Biblical principles and practical applications, this has been a tool to help people through the worst of times and circumstances. Her calling and passion have allowed her to work with children, teenagers, young adults as well as the elderly.

Her therapeutic interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other interventions such as Solution Focus, Motivational Interviewing. Her focus is providing effective tools to help people manage their concerns. Her clients have stated that they enjoy being heard, being better equipped and feeling supported.
